How to close the feedback loop with our notes inbox:

You can connect notes with a project or issue, move it to “Processed” and when it gets done in Linear, it will jump back into your Productlane inbox. That way you can get back to your users, create that magic moment and make them really feel heard.

The status of a linked issue or project is displayed as an icon on the feedback list. Done issues will get a ✅ icon and move back into your inbox. From there, you can click the Reply button or hit ⇧R to open your e-mail tool and let the user know, that their feedback has been resolved.

1. Add new notes

With the + Note Button on the top right or the + icon on the insights navigation item, you can quickly add new insights on behalf of a user. You need to add the user’s e-mail address to be able to close the feedback loop later.

<aside> 💡 We will never send an e-mail to the users you add in Productlane. We want you to have full control over the communication, so you can build real connections.

2. Connect insights with issues or projects

Count, how often similar requests come up and segment your users to find out, who you would help the most with a new feature. Segmentation is project-based, to make sure you keep a high level overview of the most important features and not get distracted by small issues in there.
